One mortal's quest to qualify for the 2010 National Handicapping Championship...

Like Captain Ahab in his quest for Moby Dick, I am singularly focused on qualifying for the 2010 National Handicapping Championship (well, that's not really true, but it sounds pretty dramatic). I previously blogged at MonmouthParkBlog.com (2006-2008) and wrote racing columns and picks for the Asbury Park Press (2004-2005). I have been playing handicapping contests (somewhere between occasionally and semi-regularly) since around 2005, with limited success. But that all changes this year, as I plan to be a pampered guest of the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas on January 29, 2010!
